Your concerns and advice will be factored into the preparation of a larger, proposed transfer and use plan being prepared with funding from Save the Sound and The Nature Conservancy. When complete, that plan that will be used to promote the best possible outcomes for Plum Island.
Long Island Natural History Conference attendees are the experts needed to ensure carefully considered protective measures and stewardship activities will be incorporated into the transfer and use plan’s recommendations.
